Jaleel Awini is a former college football player in Colorado who was a wide receiver and a linebacker for the CU Buffs and a quarterback for the Air Force Falcons. Jaleel Awini has maintained a lifelong interest in sports and has a reputation for his positive attitude and willingness to help others.
“He's doing a really good job,” said Jaleel Awini’s coach when he began learning to play as a linebacker. “He's got speed and running some things down. He's catching on quick. He's doing good. He's also helping us on a lot of special teams and looks really good there.”
Mr. Awini’s positive reputation didn’t start as a college player, though. He also earned recognition as a player for Ridgeview High School, where he was named Gatorade Football Player of the Year for his outstanding performance on the field.
Jaleel Awini earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also studied Business Administration and Management for two years at the Air Force Academy.
